![]() ![]() While the series has had the PGA license for the past two releases, it felt minimal. There are still legacy issues and the fact that microtransactions still dominate the customization portions ultimate holds the new version back from achieving true greatness. PGA TOUR 2K23 addresses a lot of what was missing with the previous game while adding even more depth to the series. While HB Studios continues to develop the series, this is its fifth entry as the core of the series was established with The Golf Club. After taking a year off, 2K has doubled down to make the most complete PGA Tour game that anyone has seen in almost ten years. How To Complete All Xbox Game Pass Quests In 2023 Hopefully, these two games will keep me busy enough until God of War: Ragnarok releases.Īll Xbox Games With Mouse & Keyboard Support The battles don’t last that long either, so that’s a plus it makes the game digestible in bite sized chunks. The characters and story are bland, but the combat is quite good. I don’t know if I’ll actually beat this game, but it’s fun to complete a few missions here and there. I’m also playing The DioField Chronicle (Xbox Series X). You can call me crazy, but I firmly believe RoTR is a masterpiece. And I also think it’s better than Uncharted in some respects (a favorite franchise of mine, too). This is what I’m looking for in an action adventure game. ![]() The game has everything I love in a video game: Meaningful exploration that is rewarding notes/documents that are compelling to read and also feature fantastic narration voiceover collectibles that have a history lesson to them fun gameplay with a variety of weapons and combat skills that are all upgradable, along with a ton of changeable outfits that feature benefits for your character an interesting narrative with an intriguing main character and protagonist and puzzle solving that’s not that challenging. It improved drastically from the first game, and I truly think it’s criminally underrated. I wish it would get enhanced similarly third games, but nonetheless, it’s still a fantastic game even after all of these years. ![]() I originally beat it on the PS4 when it first released so it almost feels like a new game since it’s been years since I’ve played it. I’m currently replaying one of my favorite games of last gen: Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox Series X). (Am I missing an option to stop system updates while gaming?) It's was a really close match too and now my team is down a player through no fault of my own. On a side note: Xbox system updates really need a way to defer them (even if only 10 minutes) as all the options are useless when you are in the middle of a multiplayer game as they all kick you regardless. Thankfully you can completely ignore all that nonsense and still have fun, which I am. ![]() I think this 'new game" was just a vehicle to push new monetisation rather then any major evolution in OW itself. Not sure it needed a 2nd game as the changes feel like something for a patch update (OW 1.25) rather that a new experience. However, I always enjoyed the minute to minute gameplay of OW so I am glad to jump in again after they removed the stupid phone number requirements. Everything outside of actual matches is an absolute clown show (even matches sometimes when it gets laggy after Blizzard patching). ![]()
